The journey from Zermatt to Gornergrat or reverse can be broken at Riffelberg station, with the train ticket remaining valid for the rest of the trip. For the stopping service board at the last carriage of the train.
Alternatively, take the Klein Matterhorn bubble from Zermatt to Furi, change bubbles at Furi to the new Riffelberg Express bubble and stay on to the second station next to the Riffelberg hotel. Other information: Credt cards accepted.

"The Hotel Riffelberg is one of the most traditional hotels in Zermatt. It was built in 1853 on the initiative of the priest Josef Ruden and only 11 years later it was purchased by the Commune of Zermatt. The Hotel Riffelberg became famous through Ken Russell's film "Women in Love"."
