Les Houches is popular with families for cruising blue and red runs and also hosts the Kandahar downhill run. Great views of Mont Blanc.
A good place to ski in bad weather as it is mostly below the tree line.

Le Tour covers the Balme and Vallorcine areas. It is open and can be very windy at times.
The run down into Vallorcine via Belle Place and the Forêt Verte provides a good warm up for lunch at the station buffet.
